Opposition Senator Antonio Trillanes IV challenged anew President Duterte and his family to undergo drug testing after he yielded negative on illegal drug use.
Trillanes, on Thursday morning, posted on Twitter the result of his drug test last July 30, when he, along with five other senators, participated in the suprise mandatory random drug testing of some 400 Senate employees.

The test result showed that he is negative for cocaine, ecstacy, and methamphetamine, commonly known in the country as shabu.
He also tested negative for morphine, and tetrahydrocannabinol, which is a chemical present in marijuana.
In posting the result, Trillanes asked, "Kailan kaya magpapa-drug test ang mga Duterte (When will the Dutertes undergo the drug test)?"
After taking the drug test in Senate last month, Trillanes said members of the First Family should set an example in following President Duterte's war on illegal drugs and voluntarily submit themselves to drug testing to prove they are free of drug use.
“Dapat magkusa sila kasi maraming pinapatay ‘yung tatay nila, itong si Duterte. Kaya dapat beyond reproach ang First Family (They should volunteer because their father, President Duterte, has ordered the killing of many people. They should show that the First Family is beyond reproach),” he said.
He said the Office of the President, "and Duterte himself," should lead the drug testing "so the countrymen will know that the leader of the war on drugs is not influenced by illegal drugs."
Trillanes, since 2016, has been challenging the President and his family to undergo the drug test as he linked them in the supposed smugging of illegal drugs into the country. Former Davao City Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte, the President's eldest son, took the test October 2016 and yielded negative, according to his camp.
Aside from Trillanes, Senate President Vicente Sotto III, Majority Leader Juan Miguel Zubiri, Senators Paolo Benigno Aquino IV, Gregorio Honasan II, and Loren Legarda also took the drug test. The senators also tested negative for illegal drugs.
