Seven units of PRO13 now PGS-proficient

Romana, regional director of Police Regional Office PRO13 (PRO 13), led the conferment of the 'Proficient' status to seven PRO 13 units after passing a series of validation and monitoring for the 3rd stage of the Performance Governance System (PGS) by the Regional Police Strategy Management and its strategy partners here on Monday. Almendra and its Advisory Council received the revered “Gold Eagle Award” and a plaque for garnering an overall rating of 97.53 percent. The other six units awarded with the” Silver Eagle Award” are Surigao del Norte Police Provincial Office (PPO) led by Senior Supt. Ronelo D. Jaurigue with a 95.17 rating from PGS panelist; Dinagat Island PPO led by Senior. Supt. Ramir P. Perlas which got 94.93 percent; Surigao del Sur PPO led by Senior. Supt. Francisco D. Dungo Jr. which scored 94.90 percent; Agusan del Sur PPO led by Senior Supt. Marlou L Martinez at 94.78 percent; Butuan City Police Office led by Senior Supt. Albert G Magno, city director, which scored an overall rating of 92.95 percent and Agusan del Norte PPO led by Senior. Supt. Ernesto V. Tendero which got an overall rating of 92.51 percent. In a statement, Romana said all seven units were cited for demonstrating their commitment to effectively implement the PNP P.A.T.R.O.L. Plan 2030 for the attainment of the PNP’s vision for a highly-capable, effective and credible police force. Also present during the awarding rites were the Regional Advisory Council of PRO13, Provincial Advisory Councils, City Advisory Council, the Advisory Council of RMFB13 and its focal persons. “PRO13 has been certified as “Proficient” in the 3rd stage of Performance Governance System and currently also certifying all lower units in support of its “Institutionalization” certification for the fourth and final stage of the PGS,” the region’s police chief concluded.
