CL performs at Hyperplay in Singapore

K-pop star CL performed at Hyperplay, the first integrated ASEAN esports and music festival that was held in Singapore over the weekend. She opened her 13-track set with “The Baddest Female,” a song released in 2013 when she was in 2NE1. And for the first time, CL performed “No Better Feelin’" a song she recorded for the original motion picture soundtrack for “My Little Pony: The Movie.” She also hyped up the crowd with “Dirty Vibe,” “Lifted,” “Come Back Home,” “Gotta Be You,” “Falling In Love,” “Dr Pepper,” “MTBD,” “₩1,000,000” and “Can’t Nobody.” One of her song numbers was accompanied by a pyrotechnic display and fireballs going off on stage. Malaysia’s Kuala Lumpur Hunters edged out the Philippines Acclaim Empire X with a score of 2-1. The second day of MTV Spotlight showcased performances by Slot Machine, Afgan, Alessia Cara and Nick Jonas. Hyperplay was held in celebration of ASEAN Singapore 2018 and part of YOUTHx, and was powered by Riot Games and MTV and presented by the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth, and the National Youth Council.
