SM Entertainment said the Girls’ Generation’s new unit is preparing for a new album for the second half of the year and details will be released later.
The group’s only subgroup is TTS or TaeTiSeo, composed of member Taeyeon, Tiffany and Seohyun that was introduced in 2012.
Last October, Seohyun, Sooyoung and Tiffany left SM Entertainment to pursue solo careers. This was after Girls’ Generation released their 10th anniversary album “Holiday Night” in August.
Tiffany signed up with Paradigm Talent Agency in the US while Sooyoung is now with Echo Global Group. Seohyun is pursuing her acting career.
Back then, SM Entertainment said it was not disbanding the group despite that the three members had left the agency.
On the other hand, Taeyeon, Yoona, Yuri, Sunny and Hyoyeon signed new contracts with SM Entertainment.
