7 drug personalities nabbed in separate anti-illegal drugs ops in Cagayan Valley

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan — Seven drug personalities were arrested in separate anti-illegal drugs operations in different provinces in Cagayan Valley.

Police Chief Supt. Jose Mario Espino , police regional director 2, identified the arrested suspects as Gerald Tomas, 28, single, barangay tanod of Brgy Bagabag Sto Tomas, Isabela; Crisanto Dabu Jr,, 23, student and resident of Brgy Maura, Aparri, Cagayan; Johnny Padua, 28, married, beautician and resident of Balagbag, Diffun, Quirino; Luigie Dayag, 25,, single, student and resident of Zone 6, Brgy Alimannao; Gasa Dimapondag, 39, married, resident of Purok 7 Plaridel, Santiago City; Jerry Cariaga, 36, tricycle driver and resident of same place; Kimbert Tuazon, legal age, single, KTV bar attendant and resident of said place, Brgy. Lingaling, Tumauini, Isabela.
Espino said all will be facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 .
He said majority of the suspects were arrested through buy-bust operation from July 18 to 19, 2018.
Meanwhile he lauded the operating teams for another notable accomplishment on illegal drugs campaign.
Espino reiterated his appeal to the public to continuously support the PNP in its goal to eradicate illegal drugs.
