IV of Spades, Unique Salonga release new songs simultaneously

Half an hour after IV of Spades dropped their new single “In My Prison”, former lead vocalist of the band Unique Salonga also released his debut single as a solo act, “Midnight Sky”. IV OF SPADES AND UNIQUE SALONGA (FACEBOOK) IV OF SPADES AND UNIQUE SALONGA (FACEBOOK) Badjao, Blaster, and Zild have dropped their first music video as a trio after Salonga’s departure from the band. “In My Prison” featured the three wearing patterned white suits and people wearing black lace clothes, veils, and gloves that made the video eerie and creepy with an upbeat melody. Meanwhile, Salonga’s solo debut features a black-and-white video with a dishevelled bed in the middle of a messy room while he sings dramatically that can make the viewers feel melancholic. “Midnight Sky” highlights Salonga’s vocals. The song is a melodramatic track about tortured pining for a lover’s hand. Fans on Twitter are left to speculate if this is a coincidence or intentional. Salonga left the band on May shocking the fans with his abrupt leaving. A month later after his departure from the band, he signed a solo record deal with OC Records, Kean Cipriano’s new record label.
