By Franco Regala CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga --- Bulacan police have killed one and arrested nine other drug suspects during separate raids conducted July 10 and 11, the Police Regional Office (PRO3) said. Reports reaching the office of Chief Supt. Amador V. Corpus, PRO3 director identified the killed drug suspect as a certain alias Demonyo, with other data unknown. In his report, Senior Supt. Chitop Bersaluna, acting Bulacan provincial director said the slain suspect was shot after a consummated drug deal around 11:45 PM with a poseur buyer of drug operatives of Pulilan police. The suspect reportedly pulled and fired his gun towards the operative when he was about to be arrested prompting the backup operatives to fire back which led in a brief exchange of gunfire, that resulted in the suspect’s neutralization. His cohort, however, managed to escape on board a black motorcycle. Seized during the operation were one (1) piece small heat sealed transparent plastic sachet of suspected “ shabu”; one (1) caliber .38 revolver; spent shells and buy-bust money. Bersaluna also identified the nine arrested suspects as who were nabbed in different drug sting conducted in cities/towns of City of San Jose Del Monte, Norzagaray, Obando, San Rafael, Bocaue, and San Miguel as Reynaldo Espapia Y Daruca Alias Butchoy; Alvin Dela Cruz Y Romano; Lenelyn Griño Y Abalos Alias Lenlen; Jonalyn Durante Y Limbas Alias Jo; Mary Grace Martin Y Maximo Alias Jen; Romeo Tabuzo Jr. Y Manalili Alias “Nok-Nok” (listed in the Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council (BADAC) watch list of Obando), Mark Angelo Yte Y Garcia Alias “Buknoy”; Jayson Andres Y Goni; and Rene Macapugay Y Fernando Alias Nata. Confiscated from them were twenty-one (21) pieces heat-sealed plastic sachets of suspected “shabu”; and buy-bust money. Appropriate criminal complaints against the arrested suspects are now being filed before the City/Provincial Prosecutors Office of Bulacan.
