Halsey cries on stage following split with G-Eazy

American singer Halsey broke down in tears during a performance in Michigan, just days after her split with rapper G-Eazy was announced. Halsey, whose real name is Ashley Nicolette Frangipane, broke the news of her breakup with G-Eazy last July 3. "G-Eazy and I are taking some time apart. I’m eager to continue the upcoming passage of time dedicating myself to my art and my career and the duration of my tour. I wish him the best. Thanks for respecting our privacy at this time," the "New Americana" singer wrote in one of her Instagram stories. While it was not disclosed by the two musicians called it quits, fans are speculating that G-Eazy cheated on Halsey, after the latter posted cryptic tweets. "If this is a reference to “CHEATER CHEATER pumpkin eater” and is her way of low key saying that G-Eazy cheated, I will be so heartbroken for her. Like, why would you cheat?! ESPECIALLY when you have an absolute prize like Halsey?! UGHHHH," said a fan in response to Halsey's "pumpkin eater" tweet. "Guys Halsey tweeted a ✂️ And in Him & I, G-Eazy sings: “Ever catch me cheating she would try to cut my” And now she tweeted pumpkin-eater and that is part of a rhyme: “cheater, cheater, pumpkin eater” G-Eazy cheated on Halsey???" said another. Halsey is currently busy with her Hopeless Kingdom Fountain tour which she will bring to Manila next month.
