Following reports about her surprise appearance at the birthday party of Herbert Bautista last night, Kris Aquino took to Instagram and posted a slideshow comprised of friendship quotes as well as photos of her with the Quezon City mayor. KRIS AQUINO In the caption, the Queen of All Media wrote that four years ago, she and Herbert reconnected and “attempted a ‘relationship’ – but life and responsibilities got in the way.” Kris shared how satisfied she was of the choices they made, maintaining she and Herbert both have children they love and are very proud of. “...He (Herbert) did right by prioritizing them...,” she related. She continued that in able to reach “where” they are now, it took a lot of patience on his part and a lot of acceptance on hers. “Trust me when I say- it is possible to 1 day be chill about a broken heart- because without it I wouldn’t have received lasting friendship...,” she said. Kris admitted she might not have been successful at relationships, but she is succeeding as a "true friend." “More than that, more than all our ‘accomplishments’- I know we’re both the best parents we can be. And that WINS over everything else in this ever changing, temporary world... I’m HB’s true friend, and i’m 100% sure he is mine...” she noted. Prior, Kris and Herbert were spotted together watching the Star Cinema movie “Kasal” but the former quickly reiterated it wasn’t a romantic date.
