SM Prime Holdings, Inc., one of the leading integrated property companies in Southeast Asia, is opening today (May 18) its newest mall, SM City Telabastagan in Pampanga.
In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange, the firm said the fourth SM mall in highly urbanized Pampanga has a gross floor area (GFA) of 55,000 square meters (sqm).
“The unwavering support of our fellow Pampangueños and the fast-growing economy of the province have led us to open yet a new mall, this time in Telabastagan,” SM Prime President Mr. Jeffrey C. Lim said.
He added that, “alongside our first three malls in the province, SM City Pampanga, SM City Clark, and SM City San Fernando Downtown, we see SM City Telabastagan contributing further to the continuous development of Pampanga, providing both job opportunities and modern lifestyle and entertainment to its residents.”
SM City Telabastagan, which is located along one of Pampanga’s major thoroughfares, MacArthur Highway, is opening with two floors of shopping, multi-cultural dining and entertainment zones adorned by indoor pocket gardens that add a touch of nature improving the overall ambiance of the mall.
It is opening with 84 percent of space lease-awarded and will feature six digital cinemas and well-loved local and international brands such as The SM Store, SM Supermarket, Uniqlo, Surplus Shop, Watsons, SM Appliance Center, Miniso, Ace Hardware, BDO and China Bank.
Earlier this year, SM Prime had opened two other malls, SM Center Imus in Cavite last February 16 and SM City Urdaneta Central in Pangasinan last May 4.
The Company will also open SM City Legazpi in Albay and SM Center Ormoc in Leyte in the second half of the year.
