As early as 7 a.m., voters went to their particular voting centers in the cities of Pasay and Parañaque to vote for their political bets with hopes of change and reform in their respective barangays.

(ALI VICOY / MANILA BULLETIN) Despite the harsh sun and the compact public school rooms, the voters were eager to exercise their right to vote regardless of the said conditions. Some volunteers gave away bottled waters to the parched voters who just finished voting. Campaign materials In Pasay City, flyers and sample ballots written with a name of a certain candidate filled the streets just near Villamor Air Base Elementary school which is the polling precinct of Barangay 183. This was also the same case in Barangay Baclaran in Parañaque City, where even children were giving away sample ballots and flyers asking to vote certain candidates. With a population of more than 35,000, it is the largest in the city where five including two re-electionists are vying for the post of chairman with 41 candidates competing as village councilors. Flying voters Also in Pasay, six people who were allegedly flying voters were questioned by the Comelec but were later dismissed and allowed to vote. According to the Pasay City Chief of Police, they were legitimate voters since they were on the master list. They were identified as Alvin Verangel, Marvin Encabo, Annie Paganpang, Mark Angelo Sevilla, Christian Reyes at Jonvick Abendanio. According to a poll watcher, Dolores Chan, they were questioned because the six' faces were unfamiliar. They showed identification cards of Manila International Airport and Pasay City East High School but confessed that these were given the night before election day by a still unidentified person. They also added that they were from Pacita Complex, Laguna. Election complaints In Parañaque, a candidate for chairman filed a complaint before District 1 Election officer Rosalinda Alvia Radin, regarding multiple election concerns in the voting centers of Baclaran. They were asked to submit a formal complaint which underscored all of their concerns during the election based on the reports of the camp's poll watchers. One of which is the presence of barangay officials inside the voting centers who were reportedly asking poll watchers to leave the vicinity. Others include a voter, named Rosalinda Torio, voted but was not asked to attach a thumb mark on the ballot receipt. A candidate was also seen giving out flyers near the polling centers. Other than that, ballot tally from Clustered Precinct 7 did not match the actual number of ballots.
