Members of the Philippine Medical Association serving as the Docquity app’s medical board.
With the objective of creating a secured and informative network application for medical professionals, Docquity was officially made available here in the Philippines.
Expanding its presence in the Southeast Asia region, the launch of Docquity in the Philippines brings forth useful services for medical professionals in need of continuing medical education (CME) and continuing professional development (CPD) units. Aside from this, the Docquity app also hosts specialized medical content, medical updates, opinion polls, clinical discussions, peer consultations, and medico legal support for doctors.
Prior to its local launch, the Docquity app has been widely used by medical organizations in neighboring Asian countries like the Malaysian Medical Association, Medical Association of Thailand, and the Indonesian Medical Association.
For its operations in the Philippines, the Docquity app has select members of the Philippine Medical Association as the application’s respective medical board, and has collaborated with mobile phone loading app Vireo Loadworks Inc. for marketing support and technical expertise.
According to Docquity Holdings Pte. Ltd. Chief Operating Officer Amit Vithal, the said app aims to serve around 60,000 practicing doctors here in the country.
“We want to serve the huge market here in the country since according to our extensive research, it’s difficult for a doctor to acquire CPD units because of their very busy schedule and limited options,” Vithal said.
“Docquity addresses the specific need by providing an easily accessible, safe, and trusted learning environment in the convenience of their smartphones and other portable devices,” he furthered.
The Docquity app is available for free download from the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. For more information about the app, visit www.docquity.com
