Broadcast journalist Erwin Tulfo said that he is ready to face investigations with regard to the controversial P60- million advertisement deal between the Department of Tourism and government-run People's Television Network.

“Haharapin ko ang anumang imbestigasyon o kaso (I will face any investigation or case) anytime, anywhere. Bring it on,” Tulfo said.
He also challenged his critics to file cases against him so he can shed light on his involvement in the controversy in the proper venue.
"Mag-imbestiga o magsampa na ng kaso ang anumang ahensiya para magkaalaman na kung may kinalaman ba talaga ako sa isyung yan,” he added.
The controversy has led to the resignation of his sister, Wanda Tulfo-Teo, on Tuesday as Tourism chief.
Erwin said that he has no knowledge on the issue because he was not involved in the negotiation or contract signing between DOT, PTV-4, and Bitag Media Unlimited Inc. (BMUI), which is owned by his brother, Ben.
The broadcast journalist said he is just an employee of BMUI.
“Lilinawin ko lang na hindi ako isa sa may-ari, opisyal, o producer ng BMUI at walang kinalaman sa mga operasyon nito,” he said.
He said that he only functions as a "talent or casual employee" of the BMUI.
“Hindi ko maintindihan kung bakit pinipilit ng ilan na isama ako sa isyung ito gayung ang kinalaman ko lang ay mga kapatid ko ang nasa sentro ng kontrobersiya,” he said.
The Office of the Ombudsman is now conducting an investigation on the alleged irregularities in the controversial advertising deal.
