Singer Moira dela Torre recently got engaged to her boyfriend and longtime best friend, Jason Marvin Hernandez.

The "Malaya" singer said she had no idea Hernandez --- who she had been friends with for seven years --- would be proposing during the video shoot. “When Kuya Pratty (John Prats) and I were conceptualizing the whole music video, buhay ko talaga. So I come from a broken family and we wanted to incorporate na just because you come from a broken family, doesn’t mean your future is going to be broken also,” said Dela Torre in a television interview. “So that was the story pero hindi ko alam na dun pala siya (Hernandez) magpo-propose,” she added. The 24-year -old songstress expressed her happiness upon her engagement on social media last Sunday. “On a cliff at sunset, my best friend asked me the easiest question I have ever had to answer. I love you my Jason,” she wrote. "Just because your past is broken, doesn't mean your present and future will be, too. There is so much hope. So much hope," another tweet of Dela Torre's read.
