Philippine bet Cynthia Thomalla was crowned as the Miss Eco International 2018 in the coronation night held at Cairo, Egypt on Saturday.
The Filipina succeeded last year's winner Amber Bernachi of Canada.
Contestants from Indonesia, Peru, Vietnam, and Costa Rica finished first, second, third and fourth runners-up, respectively.
Thomalla was the first winner of the Miss Eco International Philippines title.
According to Miss Eco International's website, the pageant's main objective is 'to promote the importance of saving our planet environmentally in addition to marketing tourism across the world.'
