The story was adapted from the Korean film of the same name led by an elderly woman, Fely (Nova Villa), who gets a second chance at youth after making a visit to a strange photo studio.

Fely, as shown in the teaser, is an ill-tempered and a control freak old woman who has caused her daughter-in-law to be hospitalized and made her son contemplate whether to make her leave their home in exchange for a stress-free environment.

The sneak peak also shows how the pensioner protagonist is really fond of her grandson (James Reid), enough to stand up for his dream to become a musician.

Eventually, Fely changes her name after getting back a youthful body, played by Geronimo, as she starts to look for happiness.

“Miss Granny” is directed by award-winning director Joyce Bernal.

However, there's no release date yet for the film.
