The performance was presented during an episode of “Family Drive In” by “Church by the Glades.” The show is about explaining biblical passages through films. For this week, they featured “The Greatest Showman” and invited Utah singer Loren Allred to take part in the program.
The video garnered almost 1,000,000 views as of this posting.
Allred expressed her happiness having her featured in the movie as the singing voice of character Jenny Lind saying “it was a chance of a lifetime.”
“I’m really happy that the show decided to put the music first. It mattered to the director that the song was executed well instead of hoping it could ride on star power,” shared Allred on a report.
The singer also praised Swedish actress Rebecca Ferguson for her portrayal of Jenny Lind. “No one could have played that role as well as Rebecca did. She nailed it, and she has been so gracious and vocal about praising my work,” she said.
“Never Enough” ranked No. 1 on Spotify and became viral all over the world.
Allred shot into fame on 2012 as a finalist in the American reality television singing competition “The Voice.”
