Several bottles leak chemicals in Davao

The Davao City Central 911 and Davao City Police Office recovered 15 bottles of suspected chemical wrapped in a plastic bag and buried inside a house in Barangay Sasa, the City Government said in its official Facebook page. "One of the bottles caused a leak affecting at least 42 people who were immediately evacuated and treated by the emergency unit of Central 911," the city government said. This, even after an incident around five years ago involving a truck that spilled foul smelling chemicals, with school officials at a nearby elementary school in another part of the city cancelling class because of the incident. (with a report from Keith Bacongco)
