Rapper 'Zaito' charged

By Anthony Giron Imus City, Cavite — “Zaito,” the Fliptop rap battle artist made popular in Youtube, was charged with drug possession last Wednesday after his arrest in a police search of his house in Barangay Toclong, Kawit, this province.

Zaito (YouTube / MANILA BULLETIN) The Prosecutor’s Office said there was probable cause in filing the case against the rapper, whose real name is Pedro M. Canon Jr. SPO1 Roberto O. Lacasa and his team arrested Zaito after three sachets of “shabu” were found during a search of his house on Delphinus Street, Phase I, Estrella Homes IV Subdivision, Kawit last Tuesday. The search was warranted by San Pablo City (Laguna) Regional Trial Court Branch 32 Judge Agripino C. Morga.
