Saint Therese relic in PH until May 31; remaining stops in Vis-Min dioceses listed

The pilgrim relic of Saint Therese of the Child Jesus, which arrived in the country for its fourth visit last January 12, has been drawing thousands of devotees as it makes the rounds of more than 48 archdioceses and dioceses across the country.

Flown in from the Basilica of St. Therese in Lisieux, France, the sacred relic will be in the country until May 31, with the National Shrine of St. Therese in Pasay City as its last stop.
The relic, which consists of bone fragments housed in a special reliquary, is currently being hosted by the Diocese of Kabankalan until April 11.
The remaining stops of the relic in Visayas and Mindanao are as follows: Diocese of San Carlos (April 11-12), Diocese of Bacolod (April 13-16), Archdiocese of Jaro (April 16-18), Diocese of Capiz (April 18-21), Archdiocese of Zamboanga (April 21-24), Diocese of Pagadian (April 21-26), Archdiocese of Ozamis (April 26-28), Archdiocese of Cotabato (April 28 to May 2), Diocese of Marbel (May 2-4); Diocese of Kidapawan (May 4-6), Camp Catitipan in Davao( May 6-7), Diocese of Mati (May 7-9), Diocese of Malaybalay (May 9-11), Archdiocese of Cagayan de Oro (May 11-14), Diocese of Siargao (May 14-16),Diocese of Maasin (May 16-18), Diocese of Naval (May 18-20), Archdiocese of Palo (May 20-23), Apostolic Vicariate of Puerto Princesa (May 23-26), Military Ordinariate of the Philippines in Pasay City (May 26- 28), and the Shrine of St. Therese in Pasay City (May 28-31)
The relic will be flown back to Lisieux, France on May 31.
With the theme, “Salamat St. Therese,” the Military Ordinariate of the Philippines (MOP), which also hosted the first three visits of her relic in 2000, 2008, and 2013, continues to invite the public to visit and pray before the sacred relic of the miraculous intercessor.
Known as the Little Flower of Jesus, St. Therese is the 33rd and youngest Doctor of the Church. She is venerated as the patron of foreign missions.
