Ateneo de Davao accountancy class graduates with Latin honors

By Katherine Marajas An entire section of accountancy students from Ateneo de Davao University has graduated with Latin honors, Saturday. To reach as many people as it did goes to show it is of no inconsequence," Section 5A said. The entire class composed of 44 students has produced 9 summa cum laude, 20 magna cum laude and 15 cum laude graduates. "To our families, friends and loved ones, and especially to our fellow batch mates, it was at times a long, difficult road, but the journey was made pleasant with your presence and support. We will be forever grateful," the class added. Section 5A also thanked their teachers whose noble profession, more than anything else, helped shape their character and capacities as individuals. "Everything is earned, down to the last cent on the balance sheet and down to the last decimal on the class record. Nothing will prepare you for half a decade of crests and troughs," they said. The students also hoped to be an inspiration to others. "To those going through the same tribulations as we did, count your rainbows, but never forget all the thunderstorms that came before," they added.
