Senator Antonio Trillanes IV brushed off appeal from the Philippine Military Academy Alumni Association Inc. (PMAAAI) for his ouster from its roll of members.

Trillanes ignored the manifesto signed by 88 members of the PMAAAI Eagle Fraternal Chapter, an association of PMA graduates from Mindanao, on October 23, 2017, but was published in a newspaper only on Tuesday.
The manifesto, which included the signature of Philippine National Police (PNP) Director-General Ronald "Bato" Dela Rosa, called for the "immediate ouster" of the opposition senator for acts they described as "unbecoming of a PEEMAYER" and "contrary to the Academy's motto of COURAGE, INTEGRITY and LOYALTY."
The group said the senator "damaged" the institution, particularly, by supposedly inciting to sedition, committing coup d e'tat and allegedly committing graft and corruption, and "treasonous" acts.
It also cited Trillanes' "disrespect and arrogant behavior toward senior officers and the President," as well as his "constant annoying actions" in the Senate.
Trillanes, it added, is also enagaging in propaganda activities and propagating a "blatant lie" by saying that he is supported by PMAers.
But Trillanes, in a statement, dismissed the appeal as he said the signatories were supporters of President Duterte.
"They are clearly just Duterte loyalists, which is a shame given that the Academy has taught us exactly not to emulate somebody like Duterte. They are just trying to project that the PMAers are against me and that's far from the truth," Trillanes said.
He also clarified that he was never charged of graft and corruption in courts.
Trillanes said he would voluntarily quit from the PMAAAI if the majority of his batchmates in PMA Class 1995 called for his removal.
There was none in the 88 signatories who came from Trillanes' batch.
"There are 215 members of PMA Class '95, if most of my classmates start calling for my ouster from PMAAAI, then I would do so voluntarily," he said.
