A lucky graduating IT student was picked by Katy Perry on stage during her “Witness: The Tour” concert in Manila on Monday night.

(screengrabbed from Youtube) The American pop star surprised everyone when she suddenly picked Josh Madrid who was wearing his graduation toga that time. Upon getting on stage, Madrid could hardly contain himself and hugged Perry so tight. https://youtu.be/Mbz6fBSGhoA “You look so… educated!” Perry said. The singer asked Madrid why he was wearing a toga with Perry’s name and tour logos on them. "Tomorrow is my graduation," the student said. Perry then approached the student to teach her some Tagalog words and asked him to translate phrases like "It's great to be here" and "I love my KatyCats." https://youtu.be/pPp8mPTnMYc Before leaving the stage, Madrid asked for a selfie and Perry quickly posed for wacky photo. "Let's graduate with style!" the singer said. "Enjoy yourself and your new life and all of the likes you're going to get on that photo," she added. Madrid shared his selfie moment with Perry on Twitter.
