Recognizing the varied preferences of photographers and imaging enthusiasts, Canon has brought in the Philippines four new cameras comprised of Canon EOS 3000D and Canon EOS 1500D entry-level DSLRs, EOS M50 mirrorless camera, and the Powershot G1X Mark III digital camera.
Light and compact, the Canon EOS 3000D promotes easy and convenient image transfer from the camera itself from another device while on-the-go. It comes with a built-in WiFi that allows image and video sharing through the Canon Camera connect application. The same app can also be used as a smart device to tweak the camera’s settings in remote shooting.
Going further in its technicalities, the Canon EOS 3000D comes with an 18-megapixel APC-C CMOS sensor with an EF S18-55 III kit lens. To ensure sharp images with accurate details, the Canon EOS 3000D captures stills with its DIGIC4+ imaging processor. Other specs include a 2.7-inch TFT display, up to 12,800 ISO speed, and a maximum video quality of 1080p at 30fps.
Joining the Canon EOS 3000D as the latest addition in the beginner’s range of DSLRs, the Canon 1500D comes with a larger 24.1-megapixel APS-CCMOS sensor. Intended to not just capture the best photos, the Canon 1500D has the EOS Movie Full HD feature to allow users record professional-like videos. This camera boasts of its ergonomically-designed controls for seamless operation with its buttons and dials optimally-designed for easy use even with just one hand. Similar to the Canon 3000D, the Canon 1500D has built-in WiFi and NFC connectivity for fast image and video transfer.
Both the Canon EOS 3000D and the 1500D are compatible with Canon’s wide range of 70 lenses for the EOS system.
The Japanese imaging giant’s entry to the mirrorless camera department is opted to be the game-changer being the first Canon mirrorless camera capable of shooting Ultra HD 4K quality video. On top of its 24.1-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor is its Dual Pixel CMOS AF feature that makes the Canon EOS M50 capable of tracking subjects and objects with similar color in the background.
Other notable features of the Canon EOS M50 include its 3.0-inch Vari-Angle Touch Screen LCD for convenient low-and high-angle shooting.
