Seo Minwoo, the leader of K-pop boy band 100%, died due to cardiac arrest on March 25. He was 33.
Top Media, the boy band’s agency, announced his passing in a statement.

‘We are sorry to deliver this sudden and heartbreaking news. On March 25, our artist, 100% member Seo Minwoo, left us,” the agency said.
It said that Minwoo suffered cardiac arrest at his home in Gangnam, Seoul and 119 paramedics were dispatched but he was declared dead.
“The funeral will be held quietly according to his family’s wishes,” it said.
Born on Feb. 8, 1985, Minwoo made his music debut as member of 100% in 2012, a boy band under Shinhwa member Andy Lee’s agency.
Before that, Minwoo became an actor, appearing in the dramas “Sharp 3,” “The King and I,” “New Tales of Gisaeng,” and films “Crazy Waiting”and “Where Are You Going?”
In March 2014, he enlisted as an active duty soldier in the Korean military and was discharged in December 2015.
