Singer-songwriter Katy Perry makes her comeback to Manila on April 2 at the Mall of Asia Arena. This is part of the Asian leg of “Witness: The Tour” after several added shows in South America and Europe as well as in New Zealand and Australia.
Katy’s concerts have received exceptional reviews from U.S.A Today, the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, the Boston Globe and Billboard, among others.

It’s been said that “Witness” attempts to artistically reveal a more authentic persona, not as Katy Perry, but as Katheryn Hudson. The album “wanders along the shores of riskier territories, exploring new sound, distancing Perry from the animatedly sweet chart-topping hits that made her the pop superstar that she is in this day and age.”
This latest tour is Katy’s first run since the sold-out, 151-date “Prismatic World Tour,” which concluded in 2015 and was hailed by Rolling Stone as “a show to damage retinas and blow minds.”
Two rising pop vocalists Hailee Steinfeld and Tove Styrke would also be witnesses, as they will be opening for her in the coming shows in Europe and the UK.
“One Of The Boys” was Katy’s Capitol Records debut after signing with the label in 2007. She cemented her status as a global superstar with her first No. 1 hit, “I Kissed A Girl,” and the release of the groundbreaking record, “Teenage Dream (2010),” making Katy the first woman in music history to gain five No. 1 hits in a single album.
“PRISM,” her 2013 album, debuted at No. 1 on iTunes in 100 countries and has sold more than 12.5 million adjusted albums worldwide. With the singles “Roar,” “Firework” and “Dark Horse” each surpassing the 10 million threshold. Katy is the first female artist to earn three RIAA Digital Single Diamond Awards. In her 10 years with Capitol, she has racked up a cumulative 18+ billion streams alongside worldwide sales of more than 40+ million adjusted albums and 125+ million tracks. She is the most-followed person on Twitter, and the first to surpass 100 million followers.
“Katy Perry’s Witness: The Tour Live in Manila” is presented by AEG Presents and Ovation Productions.
