‘’I am a Christian. What God has joined together, let no one separate,’’ said Pacquiao, a born again preacher.

If the marriage has failed, divorce is not the answer, he pointed out.

‘’May annulment naman, bakit nagpapasa pa ng divorce?’ he asked. (There is already an annulment process, why pass a divorce bill?)

He said any annulment process should be shortened.

‘’Pero I suggest na pag-usapang mabuti ng bawat isang magkaunawaan ang buhay ng may asawa,’’ he said. (I suggest that both partners should engage in a dialogue so that they understand the role of husband and wife.)

He said he is also a marriage counselor.
