NO TO SHOWBIZ ROMANCE: At 27 turning 28, Danita Paner says she has learned one crucial lesson in love. That is, never to fall for a showbiz guy. Danita Paner Danita Paner Yesterday’s teen star admits she has had two failed relationships with actors, whose names we’d rather not mention. She’s none the worse browsing through those chapters in her once troubled life, charging everything to experience. She doesn’t want to dwell on them either. “It gets too complicated when both of you are in showbiz,” she says.

HAPPILY IN BLOOM: Danita is happily in bloom again, literally and figuratively. Her new pictures posted on the poster and other collaterals for Oceanic Spa (Dr. A. Santos Avenue, San Dionisio, Sucat, Parañaque) reveal a more serene, beautiful image. There is a hint of sexiness in the ads that becomes her. Career-wise, Danita has also been kept busy by a new contract. In mid-2017, she signed up with Viva Entertainment, where she’s currently shooting a rom-com movie, “Miss Granny,” with Sarah Geronimo, James Reid, and Xian Lim. She has also just finished another film for Imus Productions, where she’s paired with Luigi Revilla, son to Sen. Bong Revilla. On top of these, Danita is doing a mini-series for Cignal TV.

THE SALON AND SPA LIFE: Danita met media recently to let us in on her new endorsement, Oceanic Spa, described as a full-service beauty salon and spa. Vicky Ybañez, salon owner, takes pride in Oceanic’s top-of–the-line facilities and equipment spread throughout four floors that makeup the facility. Danita swears by the salon’s various skin treatments, including Infinity Peel, an improvement on the popular Diamond Peel, her favorite. Other spa services include Facial, Waxing, Body Care, a Signature Massage, etc.

BY NOW SEXY IMAGE: It has been a while since we last met up with Danita, whom we had known even as a child. At one point in Guam, where we traveled together with her mother, Daisy Romualdez, in the ’90s, I babysat for her. She was all of five or six years old at the time. I had to re-orient myself as I listened to her now ‘adult’ interview, knowing full well that I was facing a full-grown woman with a mind of her own. She has a new boyfriend, a young, Filipino-Chinese businessman. She said she didn’t mind a sexy image for herself, although she’s not really that comfortable with one. She has done a couple of love scenes on TV and film but felt not downright home with them. She plays a GRO in the Imus film. “Asiwa,” she sighed. She counts Piolo Pascual and Jericho Rosales her sexiest men. “I admire their discipline in maintaining their toned bodies despite their age,” she added. Danita has finished a college degree in Entrepreneurship, which she hopes to put to good use in the near future. Meanwhile, she has partnered with Bela Padilla and a few other actor friends in Tipsy Pig, a restaurant-bar business at The Fort.
