Multi-hyphenate star Maja Salvador spent some time in The Land of Smiles recently to collaborate with singer-pianist Tor+Saksit for the song “Falling Into You.”

The project was conceptualized by both artists' record labels, Ivory Music and Bec-Tero Music respectively, and made possible through the Tourism Authority of Thailand.
“It’s a bold musical collaboration,” said A&R executive Jon Daza. “It brought our very own Dance Princess (to work) with Thailand's most adored pop singer and pianist.”
Popularly known as Tor, he has released multiple instrumental albums and recorded pop and R&B-flavored albums. He wrote the song “Falling Into You” and it sees him record in English for the first time.
Well, it’s also Maja’s first time to join hands with a foreign artist. The project is a change of pace for the “Wildflower” actress, who spent most of last year doing the successful TV series.
“I'm very thankful for the experience. Andaming magagaling na singers dito (Philippines) pero ano ang meron sa akin (at ako ang napili)?” said Maja.
“Tor is very nice. He and his team were easy to work with that's why our collaboration went smooth.”
Sure enough, there's chemistry between Maja and Tor, at least as far as singing together on the catchy, pop-ballad sounds of “Falling Into You" goes. Tor's smooth vocals rub well with Maja's sultry tones.
“It was a good collaboration. The song is meant to be very natural, very intimate love song. I think you have that feeling (listening to it),” stated Tor. “We had that chemistry during the recording.”
And can we just say they look good together? Asked if there's hope for romantic connection between them, Maja simply said, “I hope this is not our first and last time to work together.”
"Falling Into You" was recorded in Thailand's state of the art Karma Studios in Bang Saray, south of Pattaya. It was produced by Taiwan's Victor Lau.
