Bo Cerrudo still making his presence felt after 30 years

Bo Cerrudo's theater credit is very impressive.

Bo Cerrudo His baptism of fire was via Bulwagang Gantimpala’s “Awit Ni Kadugnung" at the CCP in 1985. He later appeared as Temyong in CCP’s “Walang Sugat,” Emilio Jacinto in PETA’s “1896,”Wang Ta in Metropolitan Theater’s “Flower Drum Song,” Tony in “West Side Story,” Rama in CCP's "Rama Hari,” King Mongkut in “The King and I” (with Noni Buencamino as his alternate) which was presented at the Newport Performing Arts Theater of Resorts World Manila. He also starred in “Dirty Old Musical (DOM)” when Ricky Davao backed out of the project. In the live concert scene, Bo’s series, “Cerrudo Classixco,” is the longest-running of its kind, staged over 150 shows here and abroad since 2005. Bo’s latest performance is in“All We Need Is Love…Love Is All We Need.” The pre-Valentine show is at the Music Museum tonight. The show is a fundraising project for the Helping One Person (HOPE) Movement. Other performers for “All We Need Is Love…Love Is All We Need” are the Philippine Madrigal Singers, Nicole Laurel Asencio, Joey de Guzman, the Freshmen, and the RLSAA Chamber Orchestra under the baton of Giuseppe Andre Diestro.
