A Filipino contestant impressed celebrity judges and the audience on the the TV show “I Can See Your Voice” Korea.

Transwoman Sephy Francisco, a call center agent, was one of the six contestants in the first episode of the show’s Season 5, which aired on Jan. 26 on Mnet, and hosted by Super Junior’s Leeteuk, Kim Jong Kook and Yoo Se-yoon.
For the episode, members of K-pop boy band Block B were the guests while the celebrity panel included Super Junior’s Shindong, Lee Sang Min, Kim Sang Hyuk, Jang Do-yeon and Microdot.
“I Can See Your Voice” is a TV show where celebrity panelists guess which contestants can really sing or are tone-deaf.
Francisco blew away the celebrities and the audience when she sang “The Prayer” by Andrea Bocelli and Celine Dion complete with an orchestra. She impressed them more by singing in male and female voices.
After her performance, she got a standing ovation and applause from the stars and audience.
“It’s really been my dream to be here in Korea and I experienced a lot for first time. I experienced snow. I love snow. The very first time I got passport, the very first time I got a visa. A lot of first time here in Korea,” she said.
Francisco also got teary-eyed when she revealed that “I’m the breadwinner of our family. Because of my voice I was able to earn money for my family. Before we’re very, very poor and I really love to pursue my dream to be a singer and inspire others.”
After her appearance on “I Can See Your Voice,” Francisco posted on her Facebook account that she hopes her video will go viral “at makita na natin si Ellen and Oprah!”
She has applied to be a contestant on the “X Factor” UK, saying “hopefully this will be my next journey.”
“From Philippines to Korea to X Factor United Kingdom. Please pray for me po. In God's will,” she wrote.
