The Inter-Agency Council for Traffic (I-ACT) will expand the campaign against smoke belching and dilapidated public utility vehicles (PUVs) in Mega Manila area starting today.

I-ACT Task Force Alamid head Gen. Manuel Gonzales said passenger jeepneys in Cavite, Laguna, Bulacan, and Antipolo in Rizal will now be subjected to roadside inspection under the ‘Tanggal Bulok, Tanggal Usok’ campaign.

“Traffic situation in these areas affect the metropolis as most commuters coming from these provinces are working in Metro Manila,” Gonzales said.
