Three most talked about bets enter Bb. Pilipinas 2018

After hours of intense deliberation, the official candidates of the 2018 Binibining Pilipinas pageant were finally announced, Tuesday. Pilipinas official Facebook account) From hundreds of hopefuls, the number of aspiring beauty queen was trimmed to 40. And among those who made the cut were Miss-World Philippines titleholder Catriona Gray, former “Pinoy Big Brother” housemate Vickie Rushton, and volleyball star Michele Gumabao---all talked about as soon as the public learned of their bid to join the pageant few days prior. Catriona thanked her supporters and fans via Instagram post. She also quoted Steve’s Maraboli’s line: “There is nothing more beautiful than a woman who is unapologetically herself; comfortable in her imperfect perfection. To me that is the true essence of beauty” “At this moment, more than anything, in my mind are all of you who have ceaselessly supported me since day one. Maraming maraming salamat sa inyo. This is for you. Let’s do this,” her post read. Michele, the daughter of former actor Dennis Roldan, expressed excitement over her beauty pageant journey. In a Facebook post, she said, “It’s official!! Feeling so blessed and excited to begin another journey! @aces_and_queens family represent!! Thank you to all our mamas, titos, madams and kuyas who helped us be ready for this new beginning!” Binibining Pilipinas Inc. headed by national director Stella Araneta is one of the largest national beauty pageants in the country. Six crowns are at stake for the ladies and these include Bb. Pilipinas-Universe, Bb. Pilipinas-International, Bb. Pilipinas Intercontinental, Bb. Pilipinas-Grand International, Bb. Pilipinas-Supranational, and Bb. Pilipinas-Globe. The winners will represent the country in the international counterpart of the said titles. Over the past years, Filipina representatives have earned good notice in the international scene. Among them were Pia Wurtzbach and Kylie Versoza, who bagged the Miss Universe 2015 and Miss International 2016 titles, respectively. Rachel Peters had a Top 10 finish in the last year’s Miss Universe competition. The 55th Bb.
