Baguio City's temperature dips to 11.40°c

By  Chito Chavez The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported that the temperature in Baguio City dipped to 11.4 degrees Celsius early Sunday, the coldest so far this month with the northeast monsoon continuing to blow cold winds across the country. PAGASA meteorologist Leni Ruiz said that the lowest temperature in the country was recorded in Baguio City at 5 a.m. Ruiz noted that temperatures in the city and other nearby provinces are expected to dip citing, how the “hanging amihan” or northeast monsoon has yet to reach its peak. Last month, the temperature in Baguio dropped to as low as 11 degrees Celsius. The city recorded its lowest temperature for 2017 at 9 degrees Celsius sometime in February. Meanwhile, Pagasa said temperatures in Metro Manila, Cebu City and Davao City are expected to be between 23 and 25 degrees Celsius.
