Seven persons were injured when a multi-cab rammed a dump truck parked on the Davao-Digos Highway going to Davao City in Santa Cruz, Davao del Sur on Sunday, Feb. 9.

Dashcam video showed traffic moving smoothly when the multi-cab on the rightmost lane suddenly crashed into the truck.
The multi-cab turned around and stopped and its passengers were thrown out.
A Sports Utility Vehicle following behind hit the multi-cab and one of passengers sprawled on the road.
Vehicles behind managed to brake in time and avoid further incident.
The multi-cab driver and his passengers sustained injuries and taken to a hospital.
Police said driver might have fallen asleep and lost control of the steering wheel.
A passenger noticed the driver dozing off and was about to wake him up but it was too late.
Aside from the multi-cab driver, police said the truck driver is also responsible for the incident as the truck had no early warning device placed on the road and parked illegally.
