Chery Tiggo and Cignal gun for the remaining two quarterfinal berths when they tackle separate rivals on Tuesday, March 11, in the Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference at the Philsports Arena in Pasig City.

Fresh from victories last Thursday, March 6, at the start of the play-in tournament, both the Crossovers and the HD Spikers hope to sustain their momentum as another victory would complete the quarters cast and render the Thursday matches as non-bearing.
The early quarterfinalists are Galeries Tower, Akari, PLDT, Choco Mucho, Petro Gazz and defending champion Creamline.
Chery Tiggo tangles with Farm Fresh at 4 p.m., while Cignal squares off with ZUS Coffee 6:30 p.m., and while the Crossovers are the HD Spikers appear to be favorites in both matchups, they are not taking their opponents lightly.
For one, both Farm Fresh and ZUS Coffee -- spearheaded mostly of young but talented spikers -- are eager to pull off upset wins to boost their respective quarters bid alive.
Out to fuel the Foxies are Trisha Tubu and Alyssa Bertolano, who sizzled in their tough five-set loss to the Akari Chargers in the previous round with a combined 36 points. But the dynamic duo needed ample support particularly from Rachel Daquis, Louie Romero and Lorene Toring if they needed to douse the firepower of the Crossovers headed by Ara Galang, Cess Robles and Shaya Adorador.
The triumvirate, in particular, powered the Crossovers with 49 points in their straight-set win over Nxled at the start of the play-in phase, with Robles and Galang erupting for combined 27 of the team’s 47 attacks.
Like Farm Fresh, ZUS Coffee seeks an upset as it goes up against a dangerous team like Cignal, which is coming off a four-set win from Capital 1.
Veteran Jovelyn Gonzaga is expected to provide leadership anew for the Thunderbelles, while reinforcements will come from Glaudine Troncoso, Thea Gagate, Chinnie Arroyo and Michelle Gamit.
They expect an uphill climb against the HD Spikers, who boast of a strong frontline composed of Vanie Gandler and Roselyn Doria.
