Ertiga Hybrid previewed

Suzuki Philippines Inc. (SPH) is exhibiting at the Philippine International Motor Show 2022, happening this September 15-18 at the World Trade Center in Metro Manila.

Suzuki’s theme for this year’s event: ‘The Next Generation of Mobility,’ is a way for the brand to showcase their latest innovations and initiatives through the design, activities and well-loved products all set to take the center stage.

Suzuki will be stationed at Pavilion #2, where it’s set to display its exciting lineup of models (all-new Celerio, Dzire, XL7, S-Presso SE and Jimny), all available for test drive, including the Suzuki Ertiga Hybrid to showcase the brand’s latest technology.

The Ertiga Hybrid uses Suzuki's Smart Hybrid Technology. It is a suite that include automatic start/stop while idling, regenerative braking that recharges the lithium-ion batteries, as well as torque assist that delivers faster acceleration while under load.

The Ertiga Hybrid is powered by the 1.5-liter K15B engine with an integrated starter generator (ISG) and a lithium-ion battery pack. This gives the Ertiga Hybrid 105-PS and 138-Nm of torque.

This gives the MPV reduced fuel-consumption to give you more miles out of each fill up.

In addition, the Ertiga Hybrid is dressed up with a new front grille, an updated tailgate garnish, more stylish 15-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, automatic projector headlights, and auto-folding side mirrors with integrated LED turn signals.

For now, it’s just a preview but pricing and variants for the 2023 Suzuki Ertiga Hybrid will be announced at a later date.

Besides the cars, expect exclusive promos and branded merchandise items exclusively at the event, as well as a slew of hosted and self-facilitated games guests can enjoy, including the Suzuki Wheel of Fortune and Suzuki Buzz Wire Challenge. Kids can join in the fun as Suzuki Safety Scout area will be made available for the future road warriors.

In addition, special guests and personalities are set to make appearances during Suzuki’s scheduled 30-minute shows at  4:00pm on September 17 and 18.
