Man's body found floating on Ilocos Sur river

BANTAY, Ilocos Sur – The body of a man was found floating on the Abra River near the new President Quirino Bridge in  Barangay Banaoang here on Sunday, March 17.

The cadaver was reeled in by a resident fishing on the river at 9 a.m.

Police described the victim as 5’8”, medium-built, wearing a gray T-shirt, blue jogging pants, and blue rubber shoes.

His remains were taken to the Pineda Funeral Homes in this town.

Police here appealed for help in identifying the victim. People with information may get in touch with them at 09177772708.

They posted a photo of the victim's clothes and shoes on its official Facebook page.
