Amid announcements of terminal reassignments at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), air travelers were advised to check and prepare ahead of their flight schedules to ensure a smoother and more convenient journey especially during the "Undas" break.

In a statement over the weekend, Cebu Pacific reminded its customers that all its 5J flights depart and arrive at NAIA Terminal 3, while DG flights operated by CebGo will remain flying in and out of NAIA Terminal 4 until Nov. 6, 2024.

Beginning Nov. 7, all DG flights will be transferred to NAIA terminal 2.

Air travelers were also advised to check their itineraries and boarding passes prior to proceeding to the airport.

Travellers will also need to pack a lot of patience as Cebu Pacific earlier announced that it was projecting nearly a million travellers across 5J and DG flights during the Undas break alone.

To prevent inconveniences and ensure ample time for all necessary pre-flight procedures, passengers were advised to arrive at the airport at least three hours before their departure for domestic flights, and four hours for international flights.

“After checking in, we encourage passengers to immediately go through immigration and final security to avoid delays. Boarding commences 45 minutes before the scheduled departure,” it noted.

Travelers may also check in online via the Cebu Pacific mobile application or via the Manage Booking section of its website. Both options are available from 48 hours up to one hour before scheduled time of departure for domestic flights, and up to four hours before scheduled departure for international fliers.

“Effective Oct. 18, [Cebu Pacific’s] check-in counters at NAIA terminal 3 will be relocated to Aisles A and B. Counters A1-A15 are dedicated for online check-in passengers, while Counters A17-A29 and B1-B15 are for passengers who have not checked in online,” it said.

“For a smooth experience at the immigration counters, passengers traveling internationally are encouraged to register or update their eTravel forms within 72 hours or three days before departure from and arrival to the Philippines, then save the QR code generated at the end of the form. For round trip international flights, passengers are required to complete the eTravel form twice—once for the departure flight, and again for the arrival flight,” it added.

International flyers will also be required to complete customs declaration forms before arrival.

As for select domestic destinations flying out of Bacolod, Cagayan de Oro, Clark, Davao, General Santos, Iloilo, Manila, Siargao, Tacloban, Tagbilaran, and Zamboanga, travelers were advised to self-tag their check-in luggage at the designated kiosks at the airport before proceeding to bag drop counters.
