Robinsons Retail renews support to UP Fighting Maroons

Robinsons Retail renewed its 15-year sponsorship of the University of the Philippines Men's Basketball Team (UP-MBT), reinforcing a commitment to fostering athletic excellence and community spirit that has spanned over a decade and a half.

Robinsons Retail renewed its 15-year sponsorship of the University of the Philippines Men’s Basketball Team (UP-MBT), reinforcing a commitment to fostering athletic excellence and community spirit that has spanned over a decade and a half.

Robinsons Retail’s journey with the UP-MBT began in 2010. The team posted a record of 0-14 in the first year of the partnership, and repeated the same outcome in 2013.

But Robinsons Retail remained firm to its commitment, providing support toward helping enhance the team's training and overall performance.

Present to launch the renewed sponsorship on September 4, 2024 at the Executive House in UP Diliman were UP President Angelo Jimenez, nowheretogobutUP (ntgbUP) founders Renan Dalisay and Agaton Uvero, ntgbUP Chairman Jed Eva, UP Office for Athletics and Sports Development Director Bo Perasol, UP-MBT Coach Goldwin Monteverde, Robinsons Retail COO Stanley Co, and Robinsons Retail President and CEO Robina Gokongwei-Pe.
