Pasay gov't suspends classes until July 25 due to continuous rains, flooding

Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano ordered the suspension of classes in all levels in private and public schools up to Thursday, July 25, due to continuous rains and flooding in different barangays in the city.
Rubiano visited evacuation sites where rescued city residents stayed. She led the distribution of hot meals, beddings, and other necessities needed by the evacuees.
The mayor also held a meeting with the personnel of the Disaster Risk and Reduction Management Office to ensure that they are working and ready to provide the needs of the public.
Rubiano directed the City Social Welfare Development Office to ensure that they have enough buffer stock of relief goods for immediate distribution to residents affected by flooding.
