Las Piñas City Mayor Imelda Aguilar ordered the City Disaster Risk and Reduction Management Office (CDRRMO) to be on 24/7 standby alert and be ready for the activation of Search and Rescue Retrieval (SRR) and Water Search and Rescue (WASAR) teams due to typhoon Aghon.
Aguilar also told the CDRRMO team to prepare all equipment, vehicles and other related resources in case there is a need to conduct evacuation to residents affected by typhoon Aghon.
The local police and the Bureau of Fire and Protection (BFP) were also placed on alert for possible rescue operations in flooded areas while the City Social Welfare and Development (CSWD) was tasked to prepare relief goods.
The City Engineering Office, meanwhile, will be responsible for the dismantling of fallen tarpaulin and signages while the City Environment and Natural Resources is on standby for debris clearing and civil works.
The City Health office is also on standby to assist and provide necessary medical assistance.
