BSP recognizes partners in South Luzon, main office
The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) has acknowledged the help of 29 institutional partners of BSP main and its South Luzon Regional Offices in an annual event aimed at encouraging partnerships in pursuit of price and financial stability – both key mandates of the central bank.
“The BSP is fortunate to have partners and stakeholders who are committed to help us pursue our mandates and advocacies in the service of our country,” said BSP Governor Eli M. Remolona Jr. on Friday, Nov. 3.

The 2023 Outstanding BSP Stakeholders Appreciation (OBSAC) ceremony was held last Oct. 27.
According to the BSP, the yearly event was its way of recognizing outstanding partnerships that support its mandates to ensure price stability, financial stability, and a safe and efficient payments and settlements system.
“Outstanding support for the BSP’s special advocacies – such as financial inclusion, sustainable finance, and proper handling of banknotes and coins – also received recognition,” it said.
For her part, BSP Deputy Governor Bernadette Romulo-Puyat said during the event, that “with the help of our partners, the BSP has provided an enabling environment for sustainable and inclusive growth.”
“Together, we are pursuing a state where no Filipino is left behind,” she added.
The BSP named 21 outstanding institutional partners in the Outstanding Institutional Partners of the BSP Head Office.
These are: Bank of the Philippine Islands; Sterling Bank of Asia; Philippine Savings Bank; BDO Unibank Inc.; Landbank of the Philippines; The Philippine Commercial Capital Inc.; and the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration
Also named are the Department of Agriculture – Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources; the Bureau of Local Government Development – Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG); the Bureau of Internal Revenue; Deutsche Bundesbank; Asian Development Bank; Semiconductors and Electronics Industries in the Philippines Foundation Inc.; and Bankers Institute of the Philippines Inc.
The BSP also recognized the Credit Card Association of the Philippines; the World Bank; the City Government of Calapan, Oriental Mindoro; the Municipal Government of Manay, Davao Oriental; the Provincial Government of Sarangani; the BDO Foundation Inc.; and the Innovations for Poverty Action.
Meanwhile, there are eight named for Outstanding Institutional Partners of BSP South Luzon Regional Offices.
These are Landbank – Naga Rotunda Branch; the Department of Agriculture – Regional Field Office 5; iLab ARAL Inc.; Rural Bank of Guinobatan; the Department of Trade and Industry – Regional Office V; the Provincial Government of Camarines Norte; the Provincial Government of Palawan; and CARD-MRI Development Institute Inc.
The BSP is also set to recognize outstanding partners of its North Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao offices at a later date.
