BATANGAS CITY, Batangas -- A 45-year-old carpenter who yielded P.3 million worth of shabu in a buy-bust operation was arrested on Tuesday dawn, June 20, in Barangay Balagtas in this city.
Batangas Police Provincial Office (BPPO) director Col. Rainerio De Chavez identified the buy-bust target as Jumbu Galicia, a resident of the said place.
Galicia was listed as a high-value individual on drugs by Batangas City Police Station.
During the buy-bust, the raiding policemen positively verified Galia’s illegal trade as he sold drugs to a police officer who acted as shabu buyer.
According to a report by Police Regional Office 4A regional director Brig. Gen. Carlito Gaces, the operatives of the City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) confiscated 52.2 grams placed in a knotted transparent plastic sachet with an estimated Dangerous Drug Board (DDB) value of P354,960.
The police also seized a smartphone and the marked money used in the buy-bust.
