Brapanese model-turned-actor Daniel Matsunaga surprised people when he arrived at the recent celebrity premiere night of “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” at SM North Edsa’s The Block with Bb. Pilipinas 2010 2nd Runner-up Helen Nicolette Henson.

Daniel and Nicollette came five minutes before the start of the screening. They had to rush inside the cinema as they came late when everybody was already seated. They were sweet with each other, even holding hands all throughout the screening. Before the lights went on, the two "escaped" to their car.

A source said Daniel and Nicollette met during past fashion shoots and easily hit it off. The "Twilight" premiere was their first public appearance together as date partners.

Other celebrities who came to the premiere were Paolo Contis, Lian Paz, Lyn Ching, La Diva, Nadine Samonte and boyfriend Emerson Chua, Sarah Labhati, Alyssa Alano, and Butch Francisco.

Daniel is happy with the high rating of “Langit Sa Piling Mo” with Heart Evangelista and Mark Herras, and “Love Bug” with Kris Bernal.

Together with fellow Brapanese models Akihiro Sato and Fabio Ide, Daniel is attending voice workshop in preparation for their boy band which does not have a name yet.
