Vico Sotto on mom Coney Reyes' 'Eat Bulaga' comeback: 'Di ko akalain'

Vico Sotto was among those surprised with his mom Coney Reyes' decision to return as host of "Eat BUlaga."

He wrote on his social media accounts: "Di ko akalain na makakakita pa ko ng Bulaga na may 'Tito, Vic, and Joey, kasama pati si Coney!' (flushed face emojis)."

"Baby pa ko nung huling episode na nandun si Mama," he added.

"Sayang di ako nakanood ng live. Sa 50th Anniversary, sisiguraduhin kong nasa live audience ako."

Coney returned to the show over the weekend in celebration of its 43rd anniversary.

“Welcome home, original Dabarkads since 1982, Coney Reyes,” said Tito Sotto.

Coney was emotional as she appeared on camera.

Vic Sotto quipped: "Hindi pa nagsasalita, umiiyak na! Wala pang sinasabi, umiiyak na!"

She then hugged both Tito and Vic, as with Joey de Leon.

Joey exclaimed: "Nostalgia!"

After greeting all the hosts, Coney related: “You know, some of the fun years I had in show business was here with the 'Eat Bulaga' family, especially with Tito, Vic, and Joey. Marami akong natutunan sa kanila.”

She also extended gratitude to Vic and his wife, Pauleen Luna.

“Gusto kong pasalamatan si Vic at si Pauleen dahil sa sobrang suporta nila sa anak ko, sa anak namin ni Vic, kay Vico,” she said.
