Indigent senior citizens in Parañaque's District II receive P3,000 social pension
Parañaque City Mayor Eric Olivarez said a total of 1,692 indigent senior citizens living in District II received their social pension on June 29.
Olivarez said the social pension payout was held at Barangay San Antonio in Area I covered court, Fourth Estate Subdivision.
He said the indigent senior citizens received P3,000 each, covering the first semester.
The mayor said the last day of distribution of social pension payout for indigent senior citizens in District II will be on Monday.
Olivarez said the city government started the distribution of social pension payout for indigent senior in District II on June 26.
He said the city government recorded a total of 13,555 indigent senior citizens are entitled to social pension.
The mayor added that the social pension payout was scheduled per districts to ensure the orderly distribution
Olivarez said senior citizens who were not able to attend the payout on their scheduled date may still claim their social pension on July 4 at the Old Barangay San Dionisio gym for District I while for District II residents may claim their social pension at Area I covered court in Fourth Estate Subdivision.
