Before Thailand, 4Minute returns to South Korea on Feb. 8 after spending several days in the Philippines where they held mall shows, met their fans and appeared on TV shows on ABS-CBN.

4Minute is the first K-pop group to hold promotions in the Philippines. Group members HyunAh, Jihyun, Jiyoon, Sohyun and Gayoon showcased their songs “Hot Issue,” “Muzik” and “What a Girls Wants” that are all included in their first mini-album, “For Muzik,” which was released in the country in CD-DVD format.

According to 4Minute international fan forum 4-minute.com, the pop group will be in Thailand from Feb. 11 to 15 and Hong Kong from Feb. 18 to 22. 4Minute will be visiting other Asian countries as part of the tour.

Hundreds of Filipino fans trooped to the malls to see the 4Minute members. SM Supermalls and Talk N’ Text showcased the group through shows at SM Mall of Asia, SM Megamall and SM North EDSA Annex from Feb. 5 to 7.

4Minute has reportedly set a record in the Philippines for the massive number of people who went to their show, according to a Korean news site www.joins.com.

At the SM Mall of Asia, fans packed the event venue just to see 4Minute perform.

“One of the best moments ever! Support 4Minute” wrote one Filipino fan on the forum 4minute.ph.

The crowd screamed and shoved their way to get near the stage and see 4Minute up close.

Besides seeing their idols, lucky fans who bought 4Minute’s “For Muzik” Limited Tour Edition album got the chance to have their copies signed by the group members.

“The mall tours were awesome and unforgettable experience,” said another fan.

The pop group also sang on TV shows “Wowowee” and “ASAP XV” on ABS-CBN.

4Minute burst onto the K-pop scene last year when the group was launched by Cube Entertainment.

Despite being a newcomer, 4Minute garnered awards including the Newcomer Award in the prestigious Golden Disk Awards held last December.
