Valenzuela councilor Shalani Soledad is not in a hurry to tie the knot with presidential aspirant Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III.

“We’re just taking it one step at a time. Ang focus talaga ngayon is how to get the message of Sen. Noynoy across sa buong Pilipinas,” the still camera-shy pretty councilor told “Startalk.”

Shalani gave a humble response when asked to comment on remarks that she is an “asset” to the popular solon.

“I hope I bring positive energy kay Sen. Noy, [but] of course [there’s] his family, [at ang] overall support ng taong bayan,” she said.
