Aiza Seguerra and partner inspire baby’s name

A mom wants to show her gratitude to Acoustic Diva Aiza Seguerra and her partner Chen Sarte so she has named her baby after the two.
Christened recently as "Aiza Chen," the baby was born last year while typhoon Pepeng was wreaking havoc in Dagupan. Aiza and Chen were on their way to Manila at that time when they came across the young mom, Sarah, who was then going into labor and was asking passersby for a ride to the nearest hospital.
Aiza and Chen were so moved by the sight of the young mom heavy with child that they decided to let her in their car.
But Sarah's baby was already on her way even before they reached the hospital. She delivered her baby with the singer acting as a midwife.
Just recently, that baby was baptized with Aiza and her partner Chen as godmothers.
“Si Baby Aiza, nabinyagan na siya,” Aiza told "Showbiz News Ngayon," Feb 1. "Ano siya, parang matandang bata. Hindi siya iyakin.”
The Acoustic diva is deep into rehearsals for her pre-Valentine concert "Aiza’s Lovelife Revealed," Feb. 12 and 13 in Bacolod and Cebu, but the busy-body took time out from her hectic schedule to attend the baby’s christening.
Aiza has grown fond of baby Aiza Chen. “Super, eh. Sabi ko nga, grabe. Parang sa napakaikling panahon, grabe ang bonding moment naming tatlo noong mom. Kasi naman, ‘yung pinagdaanan namin ay hindi biro.”
Aiza and Chen now considers the baby very much their own.
In a previous SNN interview, Aiza hinted on the possibility of adopting a child.
“May plans na ganyan at may plans din to have our own. Let’s see. Siyempre, iba pa rin ‘yong….Kung saan dadalhin ng hangin,” she explained.
With Aiza Chen now having come into their lives, Aiza and Chen have already begun to re-assess their own plans.
Asked to react on rumors that she and Chen had already tied the knot in the US, Aiza gave a non-committal one-liner.
“’Pag mahal n’yo ang isa’t isa, bakit hindi?”
